solved the 4x4 problem...
Hi All, I am new member from Sumatera Indonesia. Previously I did not like the American Car an love japanese car. Last month I got problem with my nissan car and have to used my father old car chevy blazer 4.3 4x4 and that was change my mind. I love it... I gave to him my 2009 nissan maxima to get this car. Here in sumatera the Blazer 4.3 is very expensive car since categorized as complete build up type of vehicle and only 3 car imported from US to my city in year 2000.
I love it until now.. but I would ask to my senior he two major problems I found in my Blazer.
1. ABS light is off all the time. Where do i Need to start to check the problem
2. 4x4 does not shift to front axel. Move to low gear yes but no front axel. Is it problem on the transfer motor or facuum since I heard from bottom of passenger sound busshhhh.
Thanks and highly appreciated for your help and suggestion

nice looking Blazer.
the ABS light is supposed to be off. if it is on, then there is a problem with it.
as for the 4WD not working.......it sounds like it's the vacuum diaphram under the battery tray. a very common issue with the thin rubber getting a tear in it.
remove your battery, unbolt your battery tray, and inspect the hose & the rubber diaphram. while you're looking @ it, also move the cable (by hand) to see that it moves freely.
while it's not an expensive part over here, i'm sure it'll cost more than double our price to get one over there.
let us know how you make out.

Progress on my 4x4 system is Vacuum
Thanks for the previous suggestion..and here are my progress :
1.Checked the cable/connector going to TCCM and cleaned it out.
2. Checked the vacuum actuator under the batery and did the test manually. With the engine off/on and transmission in N , I pushed the rubber and the light went to stay on and no flash at 4HI.
3. Next step is I cheched the hose and found one hose from Actuator to vacuum swicth disconeected/ cutted and put it back to the swicth.
4. Put everything in placed then tested the car, but I still got the light flashed for both 4HI and Lo . I suspect due to no vacuum to the actuator to pull the cable out and engage the fron drive . Is the vacuum swith problem ? how to test it prior to jugde this part broken and I need to buy a new one.( I have tested the voltage going to it is ~5-6 volts)
Would you please to explain what the next procedure for solving this problem, please.
Thank you and your help is highly appreciated.
comment : I really appreciated this forum since I am not the mechanic but just looking the thread here I have solved a few problems in my car and save some $$$. Thank you all ....
