As it turns out, this used to be a blazer friends of ours used to have, but has gone through 2 owners since they sold it. Never left the area of our small community. Don't have pics yet. Does have some problems but nothing major (that I know of): rear wiper motor grinds and wiper doesn't move, dome / map lites stay on so the previous owner disconnected them, 4x4 works but I had trouble getting it to go back into 2wd, only defroster works (heat and AC work but it can't be redirected to dash or floorboards), radio doesn't turn off (haven't checked tape player yet), and other minor stuff.

Not familiar with automotive stuff that much but am mechanically inclined so looking to find answers to problems that exist now or may come up in future. My son will be driving in 5 years so looking to keep it in good shape to pass down then. In the mean time, I will driving it over 50 miles/day for work, so it will have well over 200,000 when he gets it (167,xxx now). Any preventive advice is appreciated as well.
