Finally finished today. Started Monday afternoon, finished Thursday night. Really shouldn't have taken so long, but hey first time and it turned out successful, so I'm satisfied. Not sure if you've started or not Stiggybaby, but I guess the best advice I can give is be patient. I broke the EVAP quick connect at the pump trying to rush, and after wasting two days trying to track down a replacement, I ended up just splicing in a piece of hose with a couple of clamps. I figured it would be safe since it's not under high pressure or anything. Also, if the vent and filler hoses give you trouble and won't come off, just spend the $20 and get some new ones cut at Napa. Wasted WAY too much time on those trying to get them off undamaged. I wasted more time soldering the connector, I suck at it and it took way too long. Did have one moment of panic after I had everything buttoned up and connected the fuel pressure gauge. I still had the back end up on ramps and the gas that I had collected at the front of the tank. I was getting a zero reading on the pressure gauge and the truck wouldn't start. Took me a bit to realize what the problem was.
