New (Used) Blazer Owner - Couple Questions
Hey folks, I recently bought a 2000 ZR2 Blazer with about 107k miles on it. Overall it's in real good condition, drives well and it's surprising clean inside. There are a couple peripheral issues that I was aware of when I bought the Blazer. 1.) Power seat on driver's side doesn't work. 2.) Motor for the sunroof doesn't work.
I am mainly concerned with the power seat and despite knowing very little about vehicle repair, I may use this as a pet project. Through my research, I understand that there may be corroded wires under the carpet somewhere under-foot or under-seat.
Could someone experienced with this repair provide me with some tips on how to pull up the carpet without causing too much damage? It looks awfully tight under the seat to pull the seat out completely, but I am willing to try.

If you pull off all of the trim around the front and side edges of the carpet, you should be able to pull it up a lot easier. You may still have to pull the seat to be able to fully inspect the wiring.
