Just found this site and really like it here. Anyways for the question.

On my 1999 blazer LS 4WD

First: My rear door speakers are not working, where are all of the connectors located, my manual says 5.

Second: At irregular intervals, there is a klunk that seems to be under the driverside floorpan twoards the front. Could this be caused from the pitman arm?

Could be that. I replaced mine after an inspection tech took note and told me there was a little play. Check the tire rods inner and outer. Or the ball joints could be gone.

 

Man I really don't want to remove the steering gear.....

 

If your like me and don't have air tools.... It s*cks chiseling the rivets out. Get ready for sore hands the next day. Idler arm wasn't bad to do. Remember to grease all the fittings while you're on your back.

 

You could always drill out the rivets in the ball joints.
