My 4wd system is not working. There are no lights on the buttons at all. I've checked the fuses and that thing in the passenger side kick panel. I tried disconnecting the battery. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Could it be the switch itself?

 

Feel for ya. Mine did the same, but will not go into any gear. Tried to shift into 4lo, it made a couple grinding noises, service 4wd light came on, now nothing. No lights, transfer case stuck in neutral. Fuses are not blown, worked fine all day in 4hi, and 2wd, then quit right in front of the house. If any one has any ideas, I sure could use some help.

 

Mine works in 2wd. It just won't go into 4wd. It's not a big problem unless there is unexpected snow. I usually drive my Tracker when it snows. The Blazer doesn't handle the slippery stuff as well.

 

Many, MANY posts on this issue. You have to start by telling us what 4wd system you have... 3-button (NV233) or 4-button (NV236)...?

And to Ericthemidget, you can certainly read along in this thread, but if you must ask questions, please do so in a thread of your own so this thread does not take an unexpected twist towards your problem and maybe away from the problem that mikeymo67 is experiencing.
