Thanks for help in advance. I have a 95 blazer ls 4wd and I'm currently having some problems with the 4wd. For starters
1. all lights come on when key is turned to run then go out after 3-5 seconds.
2. There is no 2hi light on when running or after key is on for 3-5 seconds but light does work.
3. The 4wd light will come on in neutral but both high and low flash.
4. Both high and lo lights stay on after hitting any button in neutral until any combination of button or buttons has been pressed 3 times then both lights go out.
5. the transfer case tries to lock in with both 4wd lights lite but the front drive shaft doesn't spin
6. Stays in 2 hi all the time with no lights on but is in 2hi.

I would like some help with this pointers where to start how to test things and what might need to be replaced. I bought blazer used and 4wd did not work then.
Vac lines are starting to dry rot in places as a side note and my cruise control went recently also.

 

1.I have removed Tccm in dash and the box at the right side kick panel. I left both out for 2 days plugged everything back in and put the dash back in place.
2. Now I have no 2 hi light at all and both 4wd lights flash then stay on if i put it in neutral.
3. The encoder motor spins when any button is hit so I think that is not locking into 4wd at the transfer case. Will try replacing all vac lines next week when I have time and money since the one with the filter on the end has holes in it and all other lines are starting to dry rot.

 

Update. All vac lines have been replaced cruise control works on occasions if it wants not sure its related. I have clamped down acuater in the front fender well. I have replaced vac switch on transfer case and made sure motor on it was working could see and hear it turn with it off the tcase. What should I do next?

 

If any one could help with my problem please point in the direction as of right now i think t case is bad since front drive shaft has never turned. If some on thinks its the switch or wiring can u please tell me why and where is start. I would like to not take the shot gun method at this time because money is an issue right now.
