Default no brake lights

Hello everybody. I drive a 95 blazer 4dr 4x4, only 106000 miles. I just found out that my brake lights are not working at all. All three are out. rear lights ,flashers turn signals work. all fuses are fine. do I need to replace the switch that is down by the brake pedal?
I haven't tried replacing the bulbs to see if that helps yet. and just out of curiosity, I wonder if there is any chance that this could be related to my cigarette lighter not working. thanks in advance, I'm stumped

i would say check fuses again check the fuse box in your car and under the hood. The check all grounds, it sounds like it could be a groudning issue

Your Blazer doesn't have a fuse box under the hood, they added that fuse box in the 1998 model year. If your hazard lights are working that pretty much eliminates a bad fuse anyway, because the stop/haz fuse provides the battery positive voltage to the stoplamps AND hazard lamps. The bulbs use the same filiment for stop/hazard lamp illumination as well, so that would also eliminate faulty bulbs. As far as a bad ground, I'm pretty sure that all the rear lamps use the same ground circuit as well, so that should not be the culprit either. Your stoplamp switch is probably bad or the turn signal switch contacts are worn (the electrical contacs for the stoplamps inside the multi-function switch). You should get a fused jumper wire and disconnect the stoplamp switch (on your brake pedal mount) install the jumper wire acrross the terminals in the stoplamp switch that are connected to the white and orange wires. If your stoplamps come on with the wire installed the stoplamp switch is bad (open). If not you need to make sure there is battery positive voltage on that orange wire, and if there is, you have an open between the stoplamp switch and the turn signal switch, a bad turn signal switch or an open between the turn signal switch and the rear bulbs.

Mine had the same problem.(1995 Blazer 4wd 4dr.)It was the wiring to the brake switch at the pedal. I don't know how long I had been driving around like that, but a nice older couple stopped me to bring it to my attention when I was headed to the grocery store. The wires had broken off at the plug itself. I ended up putting some generic female plug ends on each wire and trying different combos till I got the lights working again.

My problem is that I must have gotten 2 of the 4 wires wrong because now my ABS doesn't work. If someone knows what color wire goes to what I'd be very appreciative.

I forgot to add that I tried comparing the wiring to my 97 Blazer's wiring and they have different colored wiring to the brake switch.
