I have fuel pressuer to fuel mointor. It will try to run with misting fuel in air in take but will not stay running. checked the and cleaned MAF sensor and all tubing still won't start. pulled spark plug to see if fuel was getting down ----No fuel.

 

Have you done a pressure and leakdown test? If so what are the numbers? And what year?

 

Yes, pressure is 8lbs and I can't do a leakdown test with the engine running. It's a 2001 Blazer.

The car was running fine. Had a similar problem a few weeks ago and I replaced the ignition module. Car ran fine after that. Drove it the store one day, came out and it wouldn't start.

 

You can rent a fuel gauge that hooks up to the schrader valve at autozone. You run the test with key on, engine off. It should be about 55 psi and not drop after 10 minutes IIRC. There is a good write up in the DIY section. Can you hear the pump with the key on?
