Default No Heat

Hi. Well as it warms up i will only get heat for about 1min then nothing, just blowing reg air. I check colant and thermostat looks good. Could the heater core be plug? Theres two line to the heater core and one haves a t where i could put a garden hose to it i dont know if it came like this from factory or the last owner put in on. or what should i look for in resolving this issue. Thanks

Do both hoses feel about the same temperature after the engine has come up to temp?

Then it possibly could be the temperature door actuator. This is an electrical component that sits on top of the HVAC housing under the dash. You can barely access it with the glove box dropped down out of the way.

If both of the hoses feel the same, coolant is flowing through the core. You could try a flush. I would remove the heater hoses and flush directly through the core though.

I Doubled check the hoses as i got home from work one of the hoses is just a little bit hotter but not by much and i could grab the hoses with my hands and not even get burned is that normal? When i move the controls from cold to hot i could feel the air change. Is what your talking about the : Heater Blend Door Actuator.
