Default no sound coming out

hey everyone...i had taken my car into the dealer to have the heater core replaced and when i got it back my stereo wouldn't work. it powers up and carrys out any task, but no sound will come out. i then threw the stock one in real quick to see if it was bc of my head unit and no sound came out of that either. does anyone know of something that will cause these problems?

do you have a sound system in your truck? if you do check the fuse to the goods. if not, it sounds like there may be some wires that were cut off of your stereo harness. idk though, just the first things that came to mind.

How about the wires? Have you checked them to make sure that none of them got nicked or anything?

pop your radio out and strip out part of all of the speaker wires. Take a AA battery and touch the pos wire to the pos side and neg to negative. My guess is a wire is grounding out.

Sure sounds as though mr.heatercoremechanic pinched or cut some wires that run close to speaker wires. Are you absolutly positive you plugged all (3 i think) wire blocks into & correctly intostereo behind dash?

sory bout omitting that. each speaker will pop when you put the battery to the wires. that way you can tell if one is blown or since they were all working, which speaker is the culpit.
