no start again! grrr
95 jimmy with cmfi
truck started to misfire, lost power, finally it stalled, dead on side of road.
towed home
has spark,will fire on fluid
checked fuel pressure 50 lbs
changed out china delco pump
got a delco pump from brazil this time.
now has 60 lbs and passes 10 min test
still no start
popped off the intake, has power at connector with test light
before i take the plunge
is it safe to say it is the spider causing my no start condition?
any other checks to do?
i don't like to throw parts at it
thanks in advance for any help

Fuel Injectors
Do you know whether the Fuel Injectors of the Spider are injecting fuel ?
Yes you can check the electrical connection of the ( Fuel Injectors )Spider Unit by placing a 12 v LED on the electrical connections and you should see the LED pulse when trying to crank the engine.
IF you lift one of the injectors and place a paper towel under the injector,
this should tell you if the injector(s) are squirting fuel while cranking the engine.

nope,
i did not check that...thanks for the help
that is why i posted this
i will do it before i replace anything.
the cap and rotor were replaced a couple of months ago and
they looked ok with no visible defects when i looked at them.
it was the first thing i looked at.
