Default No start! Timing Advanced EDI

95 Jimmy cpi 262w! Horizontal Distributor! I can only get my Distributor fully seated within a few degrees before or after the 6! The gears will only mesh in these two position?

Would the engine be able to start with the rotor in this position?

Are you getting spark from coil to the distributor and from the distributor to the plugs?

To us down here in the south, turning over is trying to start. Is it trying to start (turning over) or are you getting nothing?

SOLUTION: How it happened i don't know, but after I did the head gaskets some how I rotated the engine and when I reset to tdc I was 180* off on the rotor. Witch means i was in exhaust stroke not compression stroke!

TIP: Also the search through this site doesn't always pull up all the forums with the info you searched for. But for whatever reason if you search through google, hit the link that says "MORE RESULTS FROM BLAZER.COM" and you get alot more results!
