No tail lights
Im having an issue right now with now dash or tail lights. Strange this is that they work fine when the truck is started w/ the remote start unil the brake pedal is tapped. Any ideas as to where to even begin to look?
Under hood fuse box, for starters. Might just be a popped fuse ... but then you'll need to figure out why it popped. Have any aftermarket lighting out back? If so, that would be the first place to check.
Here's a tip to save your fuse supply .. and your sanity -- wire up a light, and stick the wires in place of the fuse. If the light lights up bright, like you stuck it to the battery, then there's a short in that circuit. Remove or unplug wires in that circuit until the light gets real dim or goes out altogether.

Actually there is another item that can cause this. Apparently in our model of Blazer the circut for the taillights comes through the Hazard switch. There was a recall issued some years ago on this. I replaced the Hazard lamp switch and have had no problems since. Hope this helps. By the way, a tell on this is that the brake light works and tail lights dont.
