Sister drove the Blazer one time and as she was going to buckle up, I guess the seat belt (lower part) some how got caught on the latch and the piece that the latch (spline metal piece) broke. As far as the passenger side seat, the latch and that metal piece seems to be good, but the seat can't recline. Something seems to be stuck. I've tried using a lot of pressure with my body while pulling the latch and no go...

It may be cheaper and easier for me to find some replacement seats at a local junk yard, but I'd like to know if you guys have an idea on how to fix these problems. I was even thinking of replacing these seats with some other seats, but have no idea if other GM truck seats will line up and function 100%. Thanks in advance.

 

Go to the forum homepage and in the Google box put in something like "reclining seat problem" and you can read the fix's till your blind. It's like one in five owners.
