Now It Won't Start
Hope someone can help.My "98"blazer won't start. It turns over. The fuel pump is working. It has done this before and after a few days it would start. But not no more.I checked both pink wires on the2 different harness'es to the coil, but wasn't sure how to check the main coil itself.I have an OBD tester, but no code's came up.I looked for the fuel relay wire behind the glove box and with all the wire's back there,I didn't know which one to look for.My Haynes don't show nothing useful.
Any help would damned sure be appriciated.

RE: Now It Won't Start
Make sure you are getting enough pressure from your fuel pump...Get a fuel pressure tool...(fuel pump is working but maybe not enough pressure) also check to see if your getting spark. them would be the 2 things id check 1st

I concur...the two things you need are fuel and spark...if one is missing, that's your answer.

RE: Now It Won't Start
Will it start if you "jump" it with another battery or use a battery charger on the "Start" function? If so, I would suspect that your fuel pump is weak and may need to be replaced. Doesn't matter if you can "hear" the pump whirrr up when the key is turned, the pump may still be too weak to supply enough initial pressure to get the engine over the starting hump. Fuel pump pressure needed to start is about 60 psi, running only needs 50psi +/-.
Also, since it's a '98, when was the last time you changed plugs, wires, distributor rotor and cap, fuel filter, cleaned injectors, etc......
