Default A number of problems starting/stalling

I have a 2000 chev blazer v6-4.6l that has been having problems starting. I’ve got a few problems that may or may not be connected. About 2 years ago I replaced the camshaft position sensor because it wouldn’t start. Then 6 months later I had to replace it again for the same reason. About two months ago I replaced it again, again it wouldn’t start. Then a week later the fuel pressure regulator started acting up. I turned the key into the one position then waited for the fuel pump to charge then it started. so I replaced it and it was fine. Then a week or two after this I stated it up and got a mile down the road and it stalled and I couldn’t get it started. Two days later I turned the key into the one position and waited for the fuel pump to charge and it started, but was sputtering and choking for about 20 seconds then it was normal. Then it has been fine for the last month or so and it stalled again only a couple miles from my house. I tried to start it by waiting again after I turned the key into the on position and that did nothing. So I waited 20 min or so and did it again and it started and was sputtering and choking for 20 seconds again then ran fine. Any help on why the camshaft position sensor keeps going bad or why it is stalling?

A faulty camshaft position sensor will not cause a no-start condition. You can unplug the sensor and the engine will start and run exactly as it would if it were connected. Data from the sensor is used, along with the crankshaft position sensor data, for detecting, and accurately identifying cylinder misfire.
