obd replacement

Thumbs down obd replacement

I bought a 99 blazer with out the obd does anyone have the diagram to replace it

what the heck happened to it? look around under there, ive ran into cars where i had to search for it. like someone unscrewed it then shoved it up on top of the column or under the carpet, who knows why.

if you have cut wires sitting there then just go to the junkyard and cut a new port and wire it in matching the colors

Oh...the OBD connector is missing....wow....I did not follow that at all until abig84's post. I thought that someone took the ECM out and you were wanting to put the entire system back in. That would have been a lot of work.

Drop the panel under the steering column and you will either find the connector or several cut wires.

about a month ago a lady came into our shop for a similar situation, she took her car to get tested and they couldnt find the port. and thats pretty much waht it was, it was broken off the tabs under the dash and someone just wrapped it up around the steering column
