For he logest time one of my cats has been going bad, so about twice a month a ses will pop up. Well i have a scanner so i usually just clear it and carry on. Well yesterday the light pops up and i plug in the scanner but nothing. Scanner will not recognize that its plugged in. Try it on 2 other cars and it works fine. so i check as man plugs as i can and the are all tight. so WTF any suggestins?

 

Check the cigarette lighter fuse. It powers the OBD port.
