Default "OC" on air temp gauge?

My daughter noticed today that instead of getting the outside air temp, there was an "OC" instead.

Any idea what that means? Out of Calibration?

BTW, the compass is fine.

How do I go about fixing it?

TIA

Replace the sensor that is mounted in front of the radiator. If you have a pic-n-pull the sensors can be had for very cheap. Otherwise, you might have to go to the dealer.

But I have no idea where it's located on the vehicle? I looked in front of the radiator didn't see anything..
Anybody got a pic of where it is or general location?

Pull the grill off. Look for some wires running across the top. It could be just about anywhere in front of the grill from high to low, though as I recall I found mine up high. The sensor itself is flat black and kind of looks like it is flipping you off...lol

Went to Pick n Pull yesterday and found a sensor.
IS there a check I can do on it to make sure it works?

And just so I know, the grill on a 2001 Blazer LT just pulls off? No screws or hidden bolts?

Yup, just pull it off. The turn signals are attached to it so just make sure you disconnect them after it pops off.
