Default Oil in intake tube?

So i looked up from the maf location and saw oil, in the groves, theres enough to fill up two or three groves down towards the maf and a coating from where the blow bye tube comes in, to the throttle body, is this normal or do i have a problem here?

Ours was oily there too on the 1998 engine with 524K miles but bone dry on the 1998 engine with 119K miles so I guess it could be an wear related issue. I do not know the kind of air flow comes out of the right valve cover back into the intake manifold.
