Default oil leak 2wd 2004 blazer

just bought 04 blazer, 2wd, and have a small oil leak around rear of eng. naturally, it is in area of rear main seal leak, but could be running down, or back, from another leak. any ideas where to look, that might be common leak problem for this model. 2wd so no cooler lines. thx to all.

Check oil pressure sending unit at the top rear near the distributor. A leak there can run down the back of the engine. There is an inspection plug on the bell housing you can remove to see the flex plate. If the rear seal is leaking there will be oil on the plate.

I had what I thought was a rear main seal leak on my old '00 Bravada. It ended up being loose pan bolts.
