Sounds like good news.
Usually if the rear main seal is leaking the inside of the torque converter cover is covered in oil. The oil tends to get slung all over the place.

Looking up through the inspection hole, I could see that the rear main area was wet, but it definitely wasn't slinging all over the place. Most likely it was all caused by the loose bolts. Good for me!!!

I'm glad for you..........
but I was looking forward to learning a lot by your post on pulling the engine and stuff.[8D] I really didn't want you to have suffering, but I wouldn't mind learning a bit more. I hope that does fix for you.

LOL. Sorry to disappoint. So 100 miles more and still no leak. So far so good.
