Oil under plenum on 95 blazer 4.3
Just changed the cmfi spider assembly and nut kit on my 95 Blazer. Although there were no fuel leaks, I replaced it thinking I might have injectors sticking which would cause my truck to run rich and having strong gas fumes. After I put in new one, it runs worse that it did before.
Anyway, when I removed the plenum there were oil stains inside(not gas). I even found a couple of small spots in the rear where it had actually puddled and dried.
Is this common? I expected to find carbon deposits or evidence of fuel leakage but not oil. It was all over the inside ports of the plenum.
The engine is a reman with about 15K miles.
What do you folks think?
