Ok, some one please help me before I take a sledge to it!!
So I'm taking out the oil lines to do the "permanent" repair. I actually found the bolt holding the bracket to the engine quite easy to take out. Now here lies the problem... I can't get the stupid hoses out! I tried jacking up the motor, and either the mounts are absolutely fantastic, or I'm just outta luck. I read that in extreme cases a motor mount must be undone to get clearance. I see the piece of metal the hose gets hung up on, but it looks too skimpy to be a motor mount. It sits just behind the power steering actuator. If someone could please post a picture of what mount I have to undo to get this thing out, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

OK, I solved my own problem LOL
Told ya I was a newb with these trucks!
Apparently I wasn't raising the motor enough. I had to keep lifting until the front tires were about to come off the ground, only then did the motor actually move. After I got it that high, they slid out effortlessly... Now off to princess auto to get some hydraulic hoses made!

Glad to hear it. I was looking for some illustrations for you last night, but could not find anything that was of good enough quality to make worth while posting.

I took a mini sledge to mine and that did the trick.
I was actually lucky because I changed my motor mounts at the same time relieving me of that ob-stackle. Rock on.
