Default overhead console display

I have a 94 blazer with a aftermarket JVC radio and I was wondering what wires from the console harness have to be wired to the radio wires and what colors they are. I followed the s10 forumn overhead console wiring but the colors did not match up and my display is not illuminated so im sure that I have the wrong wires wired together. BTW this console is the long one with 3 compartments, 4 spot lights and the main overhead light.

I still need help. My console has a orange, white, black, black and white, yellow, green w black stripe and a brown wire coming off it(maybe anothe green idk) but i am being told to connect them to wires on my radio harness that dont exist.. I have a new jvc radio and the wires are labeled what they do and other than than th + and - speaker wires, i only have chasis ground, power antenna, 12v ignition/switched, 12v battery, dash illumination and i believe thats it. anyone know how to wire this so that my display works on my console? its the temop/compass only model

Why does the overhead console have anything to do with the stereo? I'm not too familiar with anything pre-98, but none of the gen 2's that I know of require anything like what you are describing.

ok. but why are you having an issue with your overhead readout, if you changed the factory radio out for an aftermarket one?
