Default Overhead console information

Hi there... just got a 99 Blazer zr2 with overhead console, and i'm trying to reset the fuel economy settings and so forth...i thought you just held one or both buttons for 10 seconds or so like the newer Monte Carlo's and such but no luck.

Anyone? I dont' have the manual

thanks!

If it's like mine, go to any of the 'average' readings (economy, speed, etc.) and hold both the left side buttons down until the screen resets in a couple of seconds.
Go to http://www.mygmlink.com and register and you can view online or order an owner's manual for your truck.

Thanks for the quick response... when you say 'both the left side buttons'... I recall only 2 buttons...one to change between all the readings and one to convert from metric to imperial(canadian truck).

Press both those??

That's correct, press them down together and hold them.

Yah hold them both for like 10 seconds and it should reset, unless something was changed between 98 and 99. Key thing is you can't be in temp and direction screen you have to be in one of the fuel related ones.
