Ya that was my method. And for some reason all 6 were dropping from about 14‐17 to about 7 ohms until I moved on to the next. I can test them again tomorrow when I get home from work and I'll wait for each one to stop dropping and record those numbers aswell. I put a new battery in my multimeter (Innova 3306 - also from Harbor Freight). But I'm still banking on the fact it's the injector coil itself without even testing it unless of course there's some other underlying problem I'm not seeing.
Quick update...
Well I got the spider out.
Just wondering, would I notice any thing wrong with that injector 2 coil at first glance without tearing it apart? Like any burn marks from it shorting out? I didn't see much except for the whole spider looking pretty worn out and covered in oil what not.
Just gotta order the new one along with intake and TB gasket.
When ordering the new spider what should I look for to ensure im getting the new updated version vs the origional. Or is there a good chance all the old styles are off the market nowadays? Should the new read MFI on the packaging vs the CPI on the origional?
Also, any other items I should consider addressing while I'm in there outside of cleaning and inspecting? Figured I might aswell take care of it now if there is anything. I don't plan on getting back in there for a while afterwards.
yes I plan on resealing my wires aswell. I'll probably do that while I wait for the new parts. Thanks.

Your 2003 would have the updated spider as original equipment. These have wires going down the tubes with injectors at the end. (The old style has the injectors up above in the plastic housing and poppet valves at the end of the tubes with no wires going down the tubes.) Use vaseline on the connector seal and be careful to not cut when going back together.
I would look them all over. Sometimes cheap scan tools make mistakes on misfire cylinder ID (trying to use V8 PID for a 6 cylinder). Probably won't see anything.
Ok, as for any other maintenance items to address while in there? I can't seem to find anything else right now. As mentioned earlier I'm going to be getting the gaskets for the intake cover and TB. I just want to get everything all at once and not make multiple trips if possible. And not have to get back in there a few months down the road because I didn't change something when I replaced the spider.
Ok guys and gals, here's my last and final update on the spider injector problem. As of 3:40am I got the old girl running like a top and even took her out for a quick little test drive around the block! I started reinstalling everything at about 12am. It is now 4:31am as I type this.
Yes the hours may seem a bit odd but I work 7pm to 7am and it's my last night off from work until friday so they're pretty normal for me. Had plenty of light to get er done. And it is refreshing to be able to drive her again.
Surprisingly enough despite all I've read saying you have to do the TB relearn and other relearns when you disconnect stuff. I did not. It relearned on its own during the initial start up and restart for the test drive.
.
And the PCM is fine! Works great still! The spider injector I purchased:
GP Sorensen Fuel Injector 800-1512N - Autozone - $321.99 The upper intake manifold gasket kit I purchased:
Fel-Pro MS95816 - Autozone - $27.49
I would like to thank LesMyer for all your tips, knowledge, insight, and help! Some takeaways from this repair process:
It does not hurt to go over everything related to the issue before you tackle the smoking gun! (gives me peace of mind atleast)
Take your time and do it right the first time so you don't have to redo it.
Be very thorough in all of your inspection so you know for sure.
