P0300 after overheating

alright boys time for an update! so after taking the heads off and putting all new gaskets and heads on the front most 2 valves were burnet and leaking extreamly bad the intake manifold gasket was melted apart but pistons all looked really good i will check back in, in a couple days from now and let you know how it worked out

Thanks for keeping us updated. I'm very interested in what you find out. I'm having the exact same issue. I haven't gotten into it as far as you have yet. I'm planning on pulling the heads off very soon as I suspect they need to be rebuilt. Hopefully I'm lucky with the pistons too.

you should be mine was doing those issues for over a month and i drove it to work and back everyday my head gaskets were all still in good shape but the upper intake gasket was melted threw but its great on gas again which helps i replaced the heads head gaskets upper intake gasket exhaust manifold gasket head bolts entire distributor water pump 2 of the injectors all the rest were still really nice and moved the the temp sending unit on the front of the motor beside the egr valve instead of the one on the head just to make it easy to get at
