Default P0449 code but looks ok

I am getting a p0449 code that won't go away. Occasionally I get the heated O2 code as well.
I cleaned the canister and the solenoid.
CHanged the filler neck and cap.

Scan tool shows it seems to be working but code keeps coming up.
I am having second inspection for rwc tomorrow and it needs to pass.
Any tips?

That code can be a malfunctioning vent solenoid, it’s wiring or a leak elsewhere after it closes properly. The system only knows that when the valve is commanded closed the system still looks open. If that scanner is bidirectional you can commend the solenoid and see if it is working. Most shops would find the leak with a smoke test if an inspection does not find the leak. If your asking how to rig a vehicle to pass inspection without a fix, I don’t have anything to offer there.

Your O2 code is not related but the fix can be either the sensor or it’s heater circuit.
