Default Parking lights?

New to this forum because i am looking into buying a 97 blazer. There are 2 things wrong with it that i know of. One is usually when backing up it will stall as you stop and get ready to go into drive. Thinking IAC valve but thats not the big issue. It also is having a problem with the parking lights. They are NOT shutting off, even after pulling the fuse. Only disconnecting the battery shuts it off. Is this something common? I like the vehicle and the $800 sticker thats on it is well worth it but i woud like to buy it knowing i may have some sort of knowledge as to whats wrong with it. Thanks!

A 97 Blazer for $800 is a good buy if you have 97 Blazer already and may need parts. I'm betting that $800 investment will turn into $3000 worth of untold repairs real quick. Just a thought. You always get what you pay for.

If it has a Trailer connection plug you might look there for a short between the parking light circuit and a hot.
