I have noticed that when I go through a car wash ,water gets in down and under my passenger side kick panel. Can anyone tell me where this leak may be starting from?

 

sounds like it's coming through the antenna grommet hole; common...

easy fix with some clear silicone

 

I think it's more towards the bottom of the windshield rather than the antenna because there's no opening around the antenna and the water rushes in rather than a trickle

not the antenna itself, the grommet where the wire for the antenna passes through the firewall

mine became a leaker after running another wire through the grommet... most start leaking after just being bumped when working around the area...

Easiest check is to reach under the passenger side of the dash just under the glove box and pull the carpet back and away from the firewall. Pop the hood and take a hose and spray a little just to the right of the AC evap box (don't worry, you'll not going to harm anything by doing so...). Then poke your head inside and take a look at the grommet with the back wire passing through it. I'll be obvious if it's leaking there...

I had a similar problem with water. It went away when I replaced the door pins on my passenger side. I guess the door was sagging enough that it wasn't sealing and it came in under the kick panel.

 

that's super common on the driver's side since that door gets used the most, but it does happen on the passenger side as well. usually then it'll drip in and onto the door panel around the power window switches and ruin them...
