Daughter had her 01 running, put down windows then shut off now the security light is blinking and the ignition switch will not turn. It does recognize the key by activating the bells and whistles but will not rotate. Tried wiggling the gear shift and the steering wheel... tried locking and unlocking doors with remote and even hit the panic button and reset it. Possible but hard to believe that the ign. switch would give up that suddenly. Tried 2 different keys in ign. switch, no difference. Any and all suggestions welcomed.
