Question Power window problem

In my last question I asked if anyone thought it was worth replacing a power window motor yourself or is it less aggrevating just paying to have it done. I left something out. Per the previous owner of my Blazer LT, the driver side window motor was already replaced. Its not working again. he said it was working intermitently after the replacement and then not at all. Can anyone tell me how likely it is that the motor is the problem if its been replaced already. Am I missing something? I get no sound at all when the driver button is pressed but the lights do dim when I press this button.

have you tryed powering the window manualy. bypassing the switch. sounds like a switch to me. and its cheaper to do it urself. mine had rivots, but nothing a grinder couldnt handle.

I have had to replave my Motor in my Blazer and its a butt to do but it is do able. I would see if your getting power to your switch and if your getting power to your switch then see if your getting power to your motor. it might be the contacts in the switch that you can clean.
