Passlock particulars please
Hello everyone, my first post as a new member! hoping someone has the info i desperately seek. Basically I have a passlock problem and I have eliminated all other possibilities with my issue of the lil blaze not starting at times.
2000 blazer 4 dr, 4.3, auto, all related components usually suspected have been attended to. What im after now if someone can help, is
#1 -the resistance value of the wire i need to construct that gets patched between the yellow and orange wires in the bottom right side of my steering column.
#2- a copy of the text for the re-learn procedure. ( i have a basic idea that it takes about 45 mins and is a pain in the **** but it needs doing.)
I cant seem to find this info anywhere. ( ive deemed youtube unreliable)
She is my winter driver and the season is upon us so i need her to be as reliable as she once was, tune up and tires are done so this is all thats left.
Any and all help is appreciated guys, thanks a million in advance.

Passlock is a complex system and very difficult to "bypass", and not recommended to attempt it. When you turn the ignition lock cylinder to the start position, a signal is sent to the Body Control Module, (BCM). If the BCM does not recognize the key you're using, it will command the Powertrain Control Module, (PCM) to disable the fuel injectors. If the light is on or flashing, the most common problem is that the BCM is not recognizing the key. There is a sensor in the column that the ignition lock cylinder fits into. The sensor can fail, and when it does, you end up with symptoms like you're describing. Most auto parts stores either stock, or can order, the sensor: Dorman Products - Search Results
If the sensor can not correctly "read" the key you're using, the relearn process will not work.
