Default Personal recommendation for starter replacement

My Blazer was having issue with the bendix, and I was looking for a replacement, but after some reading around the forum I saw recommendations to buy the whole starter new, I wasn't sure at the beginning but after looking up for the prices of starters online, I concluded that was worth it.

I looked up in RockAuto and there were many prices but I wanted to play safe and buy a new ACDelco, after the part arrived I was surprised with a very small and light version of the starter, after comparing both I was very pleased that the new unit wouldn't need any additional adjustment, and was very easy to install.

Testing it I found that the size didn't compromise its power and helps to keep it away from the exhaust manifold.

I will see how much it lasts but for the moment it seems like a good recommendation for anyone who needs to replace the original one.

Here some pictures:

Yes I replaced the starter on my blazer about 3 months ago.I bought the lifetime warranty starter from autozone which cost me $110.
I also replaced the starter on my 94 serria with the same starter for the s10 style jimmy1s and blazers. It works just as good as the larger starters.
