ok so I know this is a blazer forum and all but the s10 forums are wack so i figured maybe someone on here can help me out. So I just swaped a new 2.2 in my s10 since the old one blew up.So I start it up and it runs i go to put in in drive nothing it wont move. The trannys hooked up right the linkage is hooked up right and the drive shaft is hooked up right. is there anyway that the park/neutral safety plug could be the problem? It was cut but all the wires were wired to the right colors. Does any one have any ideas?

When you swapped motors, did everything bolt back up nice? You did not force anything into place, did you? The transmission was the original one from the truck, wasnt it? The fluid was full, correct?
Just covering the bases and stating the obvious, but you did bolt the flex plate to the torque converter, correct?

Did you drain the transmission? You need to check the fluid level with the engine running (should be up to operating temperature) and the vehicle on a flat, level surface.
Also, there is no need to PM stating the same thing which you post or to even say that you replied. I will always reply when I get time to.

ok sorry im just trying to figure out the problem befor tomorrow afternoon so i can get it moving. and yes i drained the fluid and put two quarts in is that enough? or do you think its something else?

2 quarts is no where near enough. A typical pan drop drains around 6 quarts of fluid from the transmission. You need to add 3 more quarts, then check the level as stated above.
