Just got an check engine light and scanner came up with this code. Checked on line what this code is and came up with "torque con clutch circ malfunc".
I thought engine and trans dtc were separate systems.
Vehicle is running perfectly, does any body know what this dtc means. 1999 4.3 4wd auto.

Thanks Captain, looks like this will be tricky to pinpoint. I ve been under the vehicle and i can see the electrical connection to the transmission, but work on it, wow!

Know what you mean there. The transmission pan must be removed to service the TCC solenoid and or its connector.
