position 1 and 2

Default position 1 and 2

Of my heater/AC does not work. Any ideas.. im going to take the dash off to see if its fully pluged in.. i dont want to take it in to spend more money... and ideas would help..

Default RE: position 1 and 2

The resistor pack is on its way out.

It is located under the plastic cover over the HVAC housing in the engine compartment. You will have to cut the cover to get to it. Basically, cut along the dotted line in the pic below:

In that diagram if you remove that bolt on the firewall you just have to cut anlong the 3 dotted lines and you can just flip up the rubbery coveragainst the firewallto get the resistor pack out. then just put some black rtv silicone on where the flap meets the box and its sealed and ready to go.
