Default possible transmission problems?

Hi again, im having a weird problem accelerating. It happened once about 6 months ago, i thought it was bad gas, and it didnt happen again till last week. Blazer will run fine most/some of the time, but then sometimes ill have it floored and my blazer will be stuck doing 55 mpg. I can hear the engine revving up but the blazer will just be pegged out like it doesnt want to shift up. Any ideas on troubleshooting the problem?
Check engine light is on, had a few codes, cylinder 1 misfire and low fuel pressure on something another.

Let us know the specific codes (Pxxxx) and we'll address those. One of them may give an indication of what is causing the shifting problems.

The flashing CEL is due to a misfire condition that has the potential to damage the engine if left unrepaired.

Here are the trouble code diagnostic sheets for these codes:
P030x - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0452 - Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input

okay started by checking plugs to the cap. everything was okay.
found some type of nest? under the cap and rotor button , cleared that out and took the cap off. the metal tips around the inside looked corroded. going to replace the cap and rotor button in a day or so then will repost.
