Default Power/Economy/Miss

I've been noticing a few things about my '01 2wd V6 Blazer in the few months since we've had it.
1- It's a gutless pig
2- Comparatively speaking, it's a complete gas hog
3- It has a noticeable 'miss' on the highway when pulling slight grades at cruise (highway) speeds

It's only got 94k on it. I'm only getting about 16 around town. I've only taken it on the highway once, and it doesn't touch 20 at under 70 mph on fairly flat ground with the cruise control set. The most annoying thing though is a very slight surge when under a slight load (slight grade) on the highway at speed. Feels too abrupt to be transmission. Seems electrical. Was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I'm hoping that I can track down the problem and maybe it's tied to my ****-poor fuel economy and lack of power as well.

I hope.

Nope. No other issues at all.
