Default power side mirrors dont budge

i have power side mirrors, one is oem the other is aftermarket, they look exactly the same lol. my question is, with using the controls on the drivers side door to adjust them neither of them work. and i turn the one button left and right (to switch mirrors to control) and neither of them work. how can i tell if its the button?

If the power locks work, the fuse for the mirrors is good. (Instrument panel fuse block, fuse #7, must have battery voltage at all times on both terminals of the fuse.) On the back of the window switch, the orange wire must have battery voltage at all times. The black wire must show less than 5 ohms resistance to ground at all times. Post your results.

FYI: if the window is open when it rains, water drips onto the switch causing the contacts to corrode, which destroys the switch.... not cheap

Be sure and do a good job of troubleshooting your switch before you order a new one. The switch in my '98 Jimmy was working intermittently. I decided not to do any troubleshooting and bought a used replacement from eBay. The replacement switch didn't work at all.
