Default PRND321 lights on/off

My dash lights flicker on/off alot. sometime they're on nice n bright. soemtimes dim, and sometimes dont want to work at all. my gauge lights work just fine... its only the PRND321 and my Odometer lights that tend turn on and off as they please...kinda wierd. i Believe it to be a bad connection or possibly a bad ground. just wanted other peoples thoughts and opinions on this before i go dismanteling my dash XP. Another really odd thing is my command start unit has the unlock button so i can unlock my truck from a distance ( i'm sure most of you guys have this aswell ) it sometimes freezes and my running lights will stay on for quite sometime...i have to usually keep hitting the lock/unlock button on my remote start and hope that they shut off. Not sure as to why this happens...any advice would be greatly appreciated. haha thanks :P

I've read about this problem before (odometer & gear display). Turned out to be a bum solder joint in the dash. Here's a thread where someone solved his problem. https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-generation-s-series-1995-2005-tech-41/98-blazer-mileage-prnd21-%2A%2Afixed%2A%2A-16911/

Just read it, thanks man really appreciate it. Thats most likely the cause to my problem. Any ideas why my park lights stay on when i use my remote start switch to unlock my truck? it doesnt happen all the time just every now and then. but they stay on for a while. so usually after 5 hours of them being on i hit the switch again and again till they go off. sometimes i just gotta walk away and come back. its just becoming an on going issue.

Haven't run into it nor read about it. Having qualified that here's a guess: Park lamp relay in the body relay block. It's located behind the knee bolster of your dash to the left of your brake pedal, plastic box with a cover on it with a bolt. Park lamp relay is between the bolt hole and block mounting ears with the cover off. (depending on options there's 8-10 relays in there) I'm gonna guess and say you don't have automatic headlights or you would've seen this occur after your lights turned off too. The keyless entry module is located behind your access port on the black underdash trim piece. Only 3 wires from that - power, ground, and Body Control Module, the BCM is what controls the lock and lights (among other things). Either your BCM is sticking "on" (unlikely) or that relay is.
