Default problem with my heat.

Well i drove the my 2003 blazer home from the cabin (150 km's) and the heat was blowing fine. When i get home i park it , go to drive it 2 hours later and the heat control will not go any higher than one. I can hear it and feel the heat but the control will not go nay higher on the levels from 1 to four. I then was driving it for about 20 minutes and then all of a sudden the control level worked again and i was able to adjust it from one to four.
Does anyone have any insight as to what would cause this to happen?

Merry chirstmas everyone!

So let me get this straight, your fan is not working, correct?

felony, I asked the question in your post regarding your issues and I don't know if you answered it yet... But I believe you hit the fan housing, not the compressor as hitting the compressor would have nothing to do with the rest of the HVAC system. But lets keep that discussion over in the other thread --> No Heat!!!!!Help

Yes, i believe my fan is not working. But what gets me is after driving around for about 20 - 30 minutes, the fan kicked on and i was able to control it( raise it to 1-4 with no problems)i then parked it for a few hours and started it up to go home and same thing, not working.
