Default Problems in Rain

I am new to blazers and previously only have experience with jeeps. 97 blazer 4x4 4.3

Whenever it rains and I drive the truck in the morning it seems to hesitate/lurch when under acceleration. After driving it and then restarting the problem is gone.

After the rediculous amount of rain in RI this week the truck would not start at all, would just crank. Let it sit overnight and still same thing. Opened hood to let some air blow thru to try and dry and after an hour it started but was doing the hesitating/lurching when under load again.

Is it common for these trucks to leak around the front doors? If so, do the newer years have thicker whether stripping than can be swapped in?

sounds like your plug wires need replaced. try and search door pins or bushings and you should find more info on the door problem

x2 on the ignition system being the source of the problem. I would try misting down your engine with water. Run the engine while you mist down the wires, coil, ICM, and distributor.

Door bushings are very common and covered pretty good in other threads as suggested.
