Default pulling motor-2000 4.3 4x4

I recently started pulling the motor out of my 2000 blazer, with a 4.3, its 4 wheel drive... ive gotten all of the transmission bolts out (what a task that was) and i got the bolts out of the torque converter.. but the motor wont separate from the transmission.. not sure whats going on there.. need help

Are you sure you got all the bolts off the bellhousing and the 3 bolts on the torque converter. There are 3 bolts on the top 1 above the starter and 2 on the driver side plus the bottom bolts.

Make sure you got the donut gaskets loose from the manifolds and the motor mounts off, those type of mounts will not let the motor slide over them they have to be removed. If its all unbolted it will come right out, I recently removed and reinstalled a motor in my 1996 blazer 4x4 with a 4.3 it was a task.

Just keep working at it, you need to go ahead and support the tranny with a jack.
