Is it a pump, or something else? '95 Blazer
If you read my other thread, my '95 4 door 4.3l Blazer has been slowly dying, taking 3 or 4 tries to start in the morning, eventually not starting at all. It's most likely the fuel pump.
I managed to get the beast started by dumping gas straight into the CPFI, and it starts fine every time after. I have no fuel pressure tester, but I'll take it to a mech later today and see if they do. I took it to Advance Auto and used their OBD2 tester (I got lucky and got the crossover '95 with OBD2 ) and the only codes I got were the intake temp sensor (which I forgot to reconnect when I primed the CPFI) and EGR flow insufficient, which wouldn't keep the car from starting (stuck open would do it, right?) I'll update the thread when I get the pressure, but I'm confused

95 Chevy Only starts when primed. HELOP
Guys I got the same problem. Everything checks out Fuel Pressure 60+ with a new pump. Runs fine if you prime it with gas or either. Prime it and it fires up at 10 Below. Not the Oil Pressure Sending unit ( I found it Hotwired the switch so the fuel pump runs and it still will not start.
Does this critter have a Primer function. I find it on the wiring diagram but cannot locate it to test. Where be it located. This is 4X$ with the Oil Sending unit under the distributor.
