Post A Question About Vacuum Lines

I'm planning on replacing the vacuum lines on the Blazer, but I'm confused about the "transfer case vent" and the "filter on the transmission tube." I saw a diagram from another post showing the route for the lines coming off of the vacuum switch on the transfer case. Obviously, one goes to the actuator and the other goes towards the vacuum canister. According to the diagram the third line splits via a tee to the "transfer case vent" and the "filter on transmission tube." Where are these two components located? Or can I just leave that line open to vent to the atmosphere?

The third line on the vacuum switch goes up, about 4", to a tee. One side of the tee goes to the transfer case vent, the other runs up the transmission dipstick tube and is zip tied to the tube with a filter in the end. The filter needs to be there, and it must be clear.

Understood. Do you happen to have a picture as to what the filter looks like and where I can get my hands on them?

Sorry, no pic. There should be another one just like it for the front differential vent. The vent line is held in position by a clip that is attached to the driver side of the fan shroud, near the top. Little black plastic piece that fits on the end of the line.
