other place says this.....576.90 plus tax.. thats for all hoses.. and belt... and the gasket..
not for the thermostat... and it will take about 6 hrs...
what do I do? help. When I look up parts separately I find 30 for belt, 50 for hoses, 15 for gasket, and 10 for thermostat? am I way off?

Your part prices seem about right think my gatorback was 33 thermo was 7 for the premium one, gasket at 15 sounds about right and the molded hoses would probably be around 50. The thermo, belt, and hoses wouldnt be hard to do. Thermo is like 5 minutes to take out and replace, belt is about the same. Hoses would probably be an hour or a little more the hose when they get old can be a pita to get off and the clamps will need to be replaced on the hoses also. Ive personally never done an intake gasket but from looking at these engines it doesnt seem that bad just time consuming because you gotta remove so much.
