I own a 1995 S10 Blazer LS 4dr 4wd. I was recently diagnosing an inopp drivers seat and found that I was loosing power between the wiring harness in front of the drivers carpet and the drivers seat. I pulled up the carpet to find the problem and found enough water under there to keep a couple gold fish alive. The water had corroded a link in the wiring causing my power seat to not work.
I hadn't been getting any smells that usualy go along with that and I have no rot holes in the floor not that I'd believe that much water could SPLASH in from the bottom. I'm sure I have a leak from up top somewhere but I figured I'd ask if anyones ran into this before. I did have a problem with wind noise from the drivers door that I took care of by slightly bending the top rear corner of the drivers door in so that it makes better contact with the weather stripping. I had not seen any water coming in through there in the past and I had taken care of that noise many weeks before I found all that water on my floor which was last week.

Someone just asked a similar question and I think you may have the same problem. When I first bought my 99 Blazer, it was leaking and I was getting water down on the floor. Not as much as you are but the culprit was the hinge bushings had worn out and the door wasn't sealing good. Bought new bushings and pins and that cured it. The fact that you had wind noise may indicate that you have this problem.

I had that bushing problem but fixed it about a year ago. I'm thinking the weather stripping is still bad and even though me bending the door made the wind noise go away, the water is still probably getting in through it.
